BBMF Members Day at RAF Coningsby (with Typhoon Display at 12.30pm).
BBMF Members Day is a very special tickets-only event open only to members and not to the general public.
L = Lancaster,
S = Spitfire,
H = Hurricane,
D = Dakota.
The information on this page has been taken from the official BBMF website for displays. Some flypasts (listed in italics) are included and these are taken from NOTAMS along with the actual event websites. The official BBMF Facebook page will also sometimes publish flypast information.
The listing is believed to be correct but we take no responsibilities for any errors, timing discrepancies or cancellations due to bad weather, aircraft servicability, or any other factors.
For 2022, it is planned for the Typhoon to start its display with three passes in formation with a BBMF Spitfire, ending with a synchronised split head on with the crowd. The BBMF Spitfire will then depart and the Typhoon will continue with its display.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight or BBMF presently consist of twelve aircraft:- 6 Spitfires, 2 Hurricanes, Lancaster, Dakota, and 2 Chipmunks. They are operated by the Royal Air Force and have been based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire since 1976. The BBMF participate in scores of Air Displays, flypasts and events every year.
The display crew and groundcrew are all volunteers drawn from the Royal Air Force. The Flight routinely makes over 700 individual aircraft appearances during a year, ranging from major air shows to village fetes. The BBMF are usually represented at air shows with the Lancaster flanked by a Spitfire and Hurricane.
