Tees Valley Airshow History

With the Teesside International Airport now back under public ownership, there are plans to hold an air show here again in May 2020.

An air show was held at Durham Tees Valley Airport (now called Teesside International Airport) during 2016 & 2017, called the 'SKYLIVE' Airshow but was cancelled in 2018 & 2019 and the previous airport owners said this was because of stricter regulations and rising costs.

The Tees Valley Airshow organisers were keen to bring back the air show in 2020 however it was announced that it would be postponed due to the Corona Virus Pandemic.

The Teesside Airshow returned in 2022 with the North East's only air show in 2022.
