The Clacton Airshow takes place on the sea front at Clacton-on-Sea in Essex. The show usually takes place on a Thursday and Friday in August and is expected to attract 90,000 spectators.
This free, two-day event, includes a good mixture in the flying display including RAF participation along with display teams, aerobatic aircraft, and historic aircraft. On the ground there will be exhibits from the Army and RAF, children's activities, simulator, climbing and entertainment areas along the Clacton seafront.
A wide range of trade stands and a food court with a sumptuous selection of refreshments will be on hand. After the show there will be a chance to do some late night shopping with many of the retail stores staying open late.
BBC Essex will be providing Radio Air show on 729am throughout the flying displays as well as providing live commentary.
Air Show Parking
The official air show car park is overseen by the Rotary Club of Clacton-on-Sea sited at West Road Car Park, West Road, Clacton-on-Sea, CO15 1BN. The Rotary will also be providing a mini bus service from the main car park for our disabled visitors (and one carer) to the end of Wash Lane at the entrance to the show site throughout the duration of the event.
A park & ride service will run from Clacton Factory Outlet and will be overseen by Tendring Community Transport.
