The RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team is the only centrally funded, professional, military parachute display team in the UK. The RAF Falcons parachute display is both unique and flexible. This is necessary due to weather conditions that will dictate which of the three types of show the team may be asked to perform at very late notice:
• High show: 9000 ft - 12,000 ft above ground level
• Mid show: 5000 ft - 9000 ft above ground level
• Low show: 2500 ft - 5000 ft above ground level
The RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team utilises a variety of aircraft, from which to jump, depending on aircraft availability and the nature of the display, including the C-130J Hercules, Chinook, Puma and Dakota.
