You can watch live coverage of the parade of RAF Queen's Colours and Squadron Standards, as well as one of the largest fly-pasts in recent times down The Mall and over Buckingham Palace on BBC1 at 09:30am.
The Parade starts at 11:25am and the Flypast at 1:00pm. Sophie Raworth will be presenting the coverage, Jeremy Bowen will be commentating from Westminster Abbey and Babita Sharma will report from the ground.
The RAF100 Flypast will take place over The Mall, London, SW1A 1AA, on the 10th July 2018 at 1pm.
One hundred days after the Royal Air Force's official 100th birthday, a large formation of military aircraft will form the RAF's 100 Anniversary Flypast on 10 July 2018. The flypast will start in the vicinity
of The Wash, The North Sea and Southwold, Suffolk and Southend then route from the hold via Swaffham and Thetford and
Colchester towards London to overfly Buckingham Palace. The dispersal will occur to the south and west of the London Control
Zone over Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
The pinnacle of RAF100 celebrations - the flypast takes place over The Mall and over Buckingham Palace, the flypast will feature up to 100 aircraft and will be the biggest ever undertaken by the Royal Air Force.
RAF100
The Royal Air Force (RAF) was formed towards the end of the First World War on 1st April 1918 and is the oldest independent air force in the world. This year (2018) will mark 100 years of the Royal Air Force and there will be a programme of public events to celebrate this including an RAF100 parade and flypast. RAF100 National Aircraft Tours:
The RAF100 National Aircraft Tours are public displays of iconic aircraft in city locations around the country including Cardiff, London, Newcastle (Northern Ireland), Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester. The tour will include a range of aircraft covering the RAF's history, from WW1, to WW2, to the Cold War, to the modern age, and you will be able to get up close to a selection of aircraft. There will also be an educational zone focussed on aviation and aerospace activities, designed to encourage interest and participation from young people. More information can be found here.
The London RAF100 National Aircraft Tour will have an RAF exhibition of aircraft from WWI, WW2, Cold War, to the modern age at Horse Guards Parade from the 6th-9th July 2018. Aircraft on display will be a Royal Aircraft Factory BE2c, Spitfire Mk.XVI, Gloster Meteor F4, Harrier GR3, Tornado GR4, DC3 Dakota, Chinook, Typhoon replica and F-35 Lightning II replica. The RAF100 Flypast will then take place on the 10th July 2018.
The Mall:
The Flypast will form up over Essex, heading over East London and then on to the Mall. There will be a massed parade by thousands of servicemen and women on the Mall, so it is expected to be sealed off for the Flypast on Tuesday 10th July 2018. The parade will begin at 11:25am and will march up The Mall, followed by the flypast over Buckingham Palace at 13:00 (subject to weather, aircraft serviceability and operational commitments).

RAF100 Flypast Rehearsals:
The rehearsals for this flypast will be held during the period 3 to 6 July 2018. The rehearsals will start in the vicinity of The Wash, The North Sea and Southwold, Suffolk and Southend then route via the overhead of RAF Marham, Norfolk and overfly RAF Cranwell, Lincolnshire. The dispersal will occur over North Lincolnshire and parts of Yorkshire. The rehearsal will take place on 3 July 2018 but if the weather causes problems then it will take place on the 4 July, or 5 July or the 6 July.
