The Somme International Airshow (Meeting Aerien International de la Somme) took place at Albert Picardie, France on the 19th & 20th August 2022.
Peter Busby attended this event and this is what he had to say:
An exciting event, not too far from the UK, is the airshow held at Albert-Picardie Airport, on the Somme.
With an evening/twilight show (restricted numbers), on Friday 19th August, and the main show on the Saturday, a large crowd enjoyed some most enjoyable, and varied displays, even if, on Friday, some rain showers meant some of the participants had to cancel their displays, and, quite understandable too !
