Tornado PA-200 ECR (46+49) from the 32nd Fighter Bomb Wing at RIAT 2006.     Barry Thomas

Tornado PA-200 ECR (46+49) from the 32nd Fighter Bomb Wing and it was taken at the Royal International Air Tattoo in 2006. The 'heavily laden' aircraft was caught just as it arrived over the airfield on the Thursday and you can see that its wings are just moving from a fully swept position to the more familiar landing configuration. I can tell you that even though it was slowing down it was certainly still travelling at a hell of a lick.
Canon EOS 10D / Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM - Focal Length: 400mm, f6.7,1/2000sec,ISO400.
