"Rockwell B-1B Lancer just about to turn onto the active runway for departure after the RIAT 2001 airshow." Russell Clarke

This photograph was taken at the Cape Cod International Airshow in 2001. Pouring down rain, visibility of 2000', and a very strong wind made this shot a tough one to get (400mm lens).

This is a B52 on the approach (hence the lack of black smoke) at Leuchars about 4 years ago.

This picture was taken on the 20/09/02 at RAF Fairford using a camcorder. Went to Fairford while out and about
just to see if anything was around. Had been there about
10 minutes when it arrived. Hence picture quality - bit of
a panic to get the camcorder out!!.
No other aircraft around.

Here is a photograph of the B-1B in close static proximity, taken at the 2001 RIAT at Cottesmore (whilst Fairford was undergoing resurfacing).
The aircraft seen here is of the 34th Bombardment Squadron, USAF Air Combat Command, Mountain Home AFB.
