Culdrose Air Day 2014 – Pleasure flights available to visitors
As well as experiencing a thrilling four hour air display, visitors to this year’s RNAS Culdrose Air Day will also be able to take to the skies themselves and see a bird’s eye view of the Lizard. This year visitors will be able to purchase pleasure flights in both a fixed wing aircraft and a helicopter.
Flights will commence at 9am and continue until the Air Show closes. The helicopter flights are being run by Adventure 001 and Newquay based Classic Air Force will be running pleasure flights in one of their aircraft – the Rapide GAIDL known as “Nettie”. Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose’s Air Day 2014 will be held on Thursday 31st July, and it promises to fill the skies of Cornwall with magnificent sights and sounds from across the world of aviation, both past and present.
