Dawlish Air Show News Release

Dawlish Air Show 2008

The Dawlish Air Show takes place at Dawlish in Devon on the 14th August 2008.

This year, the show can boast a 5 hour flying display and a small selection of static helicopters, all of which are easily photographed. The location offers unique photo opportunities with stunning backdrops, something a little different to regular air show venues.

The show to spectators is free but it can only operate based on sponsorship & donations from the public. Without this, there would be no show. If you are thinking about coming down to the event, please consider donating, either on the day or by clicking on the below link and scrolling down to the donate banner within the forum

Participation at 5th Aug is as follows:

The Red Arrows
29 Sqn Typhoon 2 x Tornado F.3 (part of the Role Demo crew - it is hoped that these will be joined by further Role Demo - TBC)
1 FTS Tucano
BoBMF (Spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster)
100 ARW KC-135
AAC Historic Flight (Fixed Wing)
771 NAS Sea King
Royal Jordanian Falcons

Please note that all of these will be arriving in the morning and will be departing after the show (except the Merlin & Griffin who are night stopping) so opportunities of flying shots of these helicopters will also be readily available.

We're still awaiting news from a couple of other items but these won't be confirmed until a few days before the show.

If you have any questions regarding the show, please feel free to contact me at morley.lester@googlemail.com Dawlish website.
