The organisers behind Clacton's crowd-pulling airshow have announced the latest two display teams to sign up for this year's exciting event.
Both the Tigers Parachute team and the Catalina will be appearing in the skies above the town on August 24 and 25.
The ever-popular Tigers are the flagship for the Princess of Wales' Royal Regiment, the senior English Infantry Regiment of the line.
They were formed in 1986 and originally provided with the name of The Flying Dragons, a legacy that continues to this day with many members of the regiment choosing to refer to them as that.
The team provides additional support to the Army with an active role in recruitment and image promotion and is made up of volunteers from various battalions of the regiment.
The Tigers perform across the country and show off a number of various display routines which are all dynamic in style.
It is a welcome return for the Catalina G-PBYA owned by Plane Sailing which owes its continued existence to the need for aerial fire fighting aircraft.
Its military career as a Royal Canadian Air Force Canso A included wartime usage with 9 (BR) Squadron and a post-war spell with the famous 413 Tusker Squadron which has operated Catalina flying boats within the Royal Air Force in Scotland and the Indian Ocean during the Second World War.
She is now based at Duxford where she has been since 2004 and has not appeared at Clacton for several years now.
These two will join the world famous Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team the Red Arrows, who will also be doubling up at Clacton again this year.
Nigel Brown, Tendring District Council's Communications Manager, said that plans are really beginning to take shape and another exciting line-up up of aircraft is being put together.
"We are delighted that we once again have TSA Consulting on board booking up the display teams and preparing the schedule over the two days," he said.
"We have a long-running association with the company who never fail to provide a spectacular event for all our residents and visitors.
"Night flights are coming back on August 24 - having been such a huge success for the first time last year - and we hope to be announcing more details about that very soon."
BBC Essex will once again be providing Radio Airshow on 103.5FM and 729MW.
