WZ507 Prepares For 2007 Display Season
Maintenance work has begun on WZ507 in preparation for the 2007 airshow season. The aircraft has been subjected to a very thorough inspection, checking all areas for possible faults. As with any aircraft, several minor defects have been found and rectified – however, bearing in mind that WZ507 is now 55 years old, it is in excellent condition with no significant work being required.
It is hoped that WZ507 will be flying again within weeks and is booked to attend several airshows across the UK during 2007. Confirmed bookings are as follows:
19-20 May Great Vintage Flying Weekend, Hullavington
17 June Kemble Air Day
14-15 July Royal International Air Tattoo, Fairford
9 September Kemble Open Day
15-16 September Shoreham Airshow
