NEWARK AIR MUSEUM - Event update - Open Cockpit Week - News Release
An Open Cockpit Week will take place at Newark Air Museum’s Winthorpe Showground Site, from Saturday October 21 to Sunday October 29, 2006 inclusive; with a daily opening time of 1000 – 1700 hours, including weekends.
The museum’s Cockpit Opening Team will be on-hand to open a range of different aircraft cockpits throughout the nine day period. This will include access to the following: Vulcan, Shackleton, Hastings, Varsity, Canberra, Phantom cockpit and Wessex helicopter.
Normal museum admission rates will apply and a small additional fee is charged to cover access to each cockpit and not all cockpits will be open on each day. Nearer the date an opening schedule will be posted on the museum website Website: www.newarkairmuseum.co.uk to indicate, which cockpits will be open on what days.

Admission: Adults £6.00, Over 60s £5.50, Children £3.75 and Family ticket [2 adults & 2 children] £17.50. Appointments are preferred for Groups [15 plus people] visits, although not essential and a party rate booking information pack is available on application.
