Now the worst of the cold weather seems to be over we thought it might be good to highlight a few Newark Air Museum events and activities that might help brighten the coming months.
17 April – Indoor Aeroboot Table Top Sale {special discount admission – only £4.00 per person}; the event has already sold all of the 40 tables and look set to be a great opportunity fro some face to face trading.
24 & 25 April – Tribute to the V-Force, this two day event is building up to be a tremendous gathering of former V-Force personnel and it is open to the general public.
22 May – Enthusiast Tour (advanced bookings only) entrance fee £15 per person includes: Welcome snack, Guide Book, aircraft admissions including: Hastings, Shackleton, Varsity, Vulcan, Canberra & Phantom cockpit and behind the scenes tour to see “missing airframes”.
19 & 20 June – Cockpit-Fest 2010 & Aeroboot aviation and avionics sale; this regular two day event provides the perfect opportunity for the public to view a diverse range of visiting aircraft cockpits.
