Individually hosted Family Tours - Starting April 2009 at Newark Air Museum

The trustees of Newark Air Museum are pleased to announce that from April 2009, museum volunteers will start hosting Family Tours at the museum's site on Winthorpe Showground, north-east of Newark, close to the Lincolnshire / Nottinghamshire border.

Taking place on each Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday these tours will give participants guaranteed access to 3 museum aircraft. This will normally include the Vulcan, Shackleton and Hastings aircraft. For any family with children under the age of five the Phantom cockpit will form part of the tour instead of the Vulcan.

  The tours will be charged at an inclusive price that covers both museum & aircraft admission fees, and will be based on the number of adults and children that form each family. Places will be limited so interested families are encouraged to make contact soon to reserve their places.
