Music in the Air, Middle Wallop Press Release
PRESS RELEASE!
Music in the Air. Saturday. July 29th
COME FLY WITH US! Vol des Oiseaux at Middle Wallop
Microlight Birdman, Christian Moullec, who has trained orphaned geese and cranes to think of him as their father will fly in his microlight with his flock following in perfect formation at Music in the Air, Middle Wallop, on Saturday July 29th. They appeared for the first time in Britain in the skies over Middle Wallop four years ago and have been coming to this Battle of Britain airfield for Music in the Air ever since.
It is Christian's and the geese's favourite venue!
A meteorologist by training, Christian Moullec thinks that it is essential that everyone - birds, wife and the couple's three young children - feel part of the same family; to this end the birds share the house, they even bunk down together!
It is thanks to this dedication that Moullec has managed to save a species of wild goose on the brink of extinction. He has succeeded in establishing new colonies in habitats across Europe.
