Museum of Army Flying, Middle Wallop Press Release
The Museum of Army Flying has taken the first step towards the implementation of its programme of enlargement to provide an ongoing and comprehensive record of the achievements of military flying – the long and gallant history of “soldiers in the air”.
The first turf of a long awaited extension to the
collection will be cut on 31st August at 12.30pm by
Sir George Young MP.
The Museum is a charity and almost totally self supporting but thanks to a large number of private donations made over the last 3 years the first step towards providing this area of Hampshire with an even more dynamic, vibrant, historical Museum has been taken.
