Middle Wallop Press Release
Wallop!

Tim Saunders was, until recently, a civil service photographer with the Army Air Corps. He became interested in the fact that almost every form of job or trade is represented within an army camp; remove one or two of those who do the every day tasks at Middle Wallop and the station would soon grind to a halt.
In this, the Golden Jubilee Year of the AAC, most of the public think of Middle Wallop only in terms of pilots and their helicopters, but Tim's photographic exhibition sets out to put the record straight by portraying the cooks, the cleaners, the firefighters, the fixers, the nannies and the trainers etc who all play their part in the vital day to day running of the Corps.
Thursday September 13th at 6.00pm sees the opening of Wallop! at The Museum of Army Flying, Middle Wallop, Stockbridge, by The Chief of Staff, Colonel David Turner.
