Kemble Air Day 2007 News Release
Welcome to the Kemble Air Day update
Iron Maidens lead singer and professional pilot Bruce Dickinson came to Kemble Airport to launch Airday 2007 and take his seat for the first time in a Hunter which he thought was thrilling and cannot wait to do it again. However, the next time he comes to Kemble he will be flying with Ultimate High - Voted the UKs #1 high adrenaline experience - who are also based at Kemble and flying on the 17th.
The line-up for the 17th just gets better. At the second press day we had a preview of the Blue Eagles Army Air Corps helicopter display team who literally WOWED us. It was the first display they had done and believe us when we tell you its a jaw dropping experience to watch them in formation and doing back flips.
The RAF Events Team are bringing their new air and ground display to Kemble and it will be tailor made for the 17th, one of only five displays around the UK they will participate in for 2007. The Cotswold Skies will be filled with hot flying metal that no other Air display in the UK will have in one day and to finish the day off with a grand finale, the majority of planes in the official flypast over Buckingham Palace on that day will make Kemble Air Day their next stop before flying home.
Brave Ella came to model the new RAF Collection at Kemble and then, dressed in one of their bikini's, went wing walking with the Guinot Team and made it back in one piece!
Kemble Air Day has been thrilling audiences for ten years and the 11th promises to be the best yet so we look forward to seeing you on June 17th and as its Fathers Day bring your Dad or your favourite man for a day out up close and personal with the planes!
